 Classique Clownin Divaz Clown Unit of Al -Karim Court No. 219

“Serving the Community With One Smile At a Time”

The Classique Clownin Divaz Clown Unit mission is to bring joy, laughter, happiness, and smiles to the hearts of everyone we meet. The unit was organized in 2012 under the administration of Past IC Dt. Deaidra P. Wilson. Dt. Monica Dickerson served as the first Chief Jesteress for the unit.

Currently the Classique Clownin Divaz Clown Unit consists of thirteen active members:

• Assistant Jesteress – Dt. Sadonna Corder (Trixie)
• Secretary – Dt. Monica Dickerson, PCJ (CoCo Swirlz)
• Treasurer – Dt. Vanessa Williams (Be-Bop)
• Public Relations Officer – Dt. Terry Huitt-Green (Tnklebell)
• Business Manager – Dt. Slyvia Johnson (Babygirl Giggles)
• Transportation Officer – Dt. Aleshia Collier (Prizzy)
• Equipment and Uniform Officer – Dt. Cassandra Banks-Snipes (Juke Boxx)
• Chaplain – Dt. Barbara Moore (Lucky Charms)
• Dt. Frieda Aden (Chyna the Social Butterfly & Grandma)
• Dt. Jamurian Campbell (Cocoa Starr)
• Dt. Deaidra P. Wilson,PIC (Off Beat)
• Dt. Nyna Carter (Twinklez)

*Inactive Members: Dt. Shawanda Clarke (Jazzy Bell), Dt. Hope Penson (Redd Snapper), and Dt. Meshea Webb (Smurfette).

Since its inception the clown unit has continued to maintain its mission and motto. The unit has done numerous charitable events including visitation and activities with the seniors of Avalon Nursing Home, providing entertainment at Back to School Jams, volunteering at the MLK Parade in Newnan,and donating toiletries to assist those experiencing homelessness.

The “Award Winning “Classique Clownin Divaz Clown Unit has won numerous awards for dress and make-up at Imperial Session Competitions in 2012 and 2013.

It is our goal to continue bringing joy, laughter, happiness, and smiles to the hearts of everyone, as we serve the community one smile at a time !
